| I haven't posted any screen shots in a while because I have lacked the willingness to give the effort. Today, however, Pistol and I had two matches that I think are both worth mentioning. This, being one of them: Our pick: Their pick. | |

| Haha, but before we started playing mines, I stated that we don't do tie breakers. xD | |

| Well, it's not that it gets boring, it's just that logically, we can't find a way that everyone will agree is a fair way of breaking ties, ya know?
We could say one team picks map, one team picks mode, but in a situation where one team knows they are better at a given mode, it's unfair to the team that isn't picking the mode. We feel it's better to just end things in a tie. :]

| What Base says is right. I have been in my fair share of clan matches, and have lost and won in tie breakers. When I lose in them, I feel like I have been cheated, when my team wins, I dont feel as happy as if we had one 2-0. But anyway both teams did very well, and I look forward to facin some of these teams some time | |

| i totally agree with base. how do you choose a fair mode and map??? Both teams should agree with a map and mode? - still may not work out though.
Or... if the game is tie its TOSOK ac_desert ahaha (:<

| I gave this thread some thought. Tie breakers are without a doubt unfair for the reasons stated before, not agreeing on a final map/mode. There is a certain advantage given to the clan who calls the next map and pushes it to be called. I think a new standard should be set in place, though time consuming it my be its a fair way to handle this situation.
If a Tie occurs i think that its only fair to have two more rounds instead of one, best of four if you will. Both opposing teams have a second call for their chosen map/mode, But it should also be made clear that the clans can not call the same map/mode from their previous pick. This ends the disagreements on the third round tie breakers.
eh but then again a tie could happen, so , thinking more on it, you might end up playing 5 rounds till you win two in a row.
forget i mentioned this idea
